Marco Seefried Joins Magnus Racing

Making their series debut in the Pirelli World Challenge, Magnus Racing would end their double-header weekend at the Grand Prix of St. Petersburg having demonstrated an immediate pace and contention for race victories. Qualifying on the front-row in their series debut, drivers John Potter and Pierre Kaffer would both demonstrate a strong combination of patience and aggression, with Potter taking sixth and eighth place finishes in class, and Kaffer surviving a frought weekend to finish 15th and 19th.

All three Audi R8 LMS teams finished in the top six, after one of the toughest 24-hour races in recent memory; overcoming 15 hours of rain, near-freezing temperatures and 21 yellow flags.

In one of the most challenging and competitive races to kick off the IMSA 2017 season, the #29 Audi R8 LMS of Land Motorsports took second place following a nail-biting finish that was separated by less than three-tenths of second after 24- hours of racing. All three Audi R8 LMS teams finished in the top six spots, capturing valuable points which place Audi in striking distance for the lead in the championship.
